These winch remotes work great. Very easy to install despite the lack of instructions, however they are available online. The remote control offers excellent up and down control and easily attaches to the anti-lost strap. We installed a wired remote control at the helm, but from this position it is impossible to see the anchor as it approaches the rink. With the wireless remote control you can go to the bow and finish your search while you see/flush the chain and anchor. With two people, this reduces the need for hand signals as the person on the nose is in full control. These consoles cost about ten times less than the factory model available from the winch manufacturer. Highly recommended.
