Very well designed. At first glance, you might be wondering why you're spending $100 on a drain pump cover, but this thing is well designed and well thought out. I use this as part of a radon protection system. Don't skimp on fittings and various pipe gaskets/flanges. They even included a drilling template for the sump pump outlet pipe. A typical design is the lateral entry of the outlet pipe and the entry of the radon outlet from above. The cables enter from the top (although mine enter from the side. Fits on the floor for an airtight seal. I didn't understand from the description how a 3" PVC pipe would work, but you need a 3". -PVC thread adapter from Big Blue or Big Orange.The black ring comes with a dome cover and has a seal on the back.Of course you can spend $30 for a piece of plexiglass and silicon chalk but after you have this installed and the quality of work saw why go there.Jeckel gets an A here.See the photos.
