In fact they look very cheap, not that they are gold plated at all.
I'm not happy with it at all. They don't look gilded. They appear to be covered in mustard yellow enamel, even on an uneven surface. They are mounted imprecisely, the hooks are pressed too close to the earring. They were sent in a box, so they had to be packed that way. In fact, I was afraid the hook would break if I tried to change their shape. This is a complete disappointment. Save money and make a different choice.
