Review on 🚴 High-performance Alloy Bicycle Pump by Donald Gore

brother what have you done

The other day I was stuck and had to borrow a pump which was annoying me. So I got 2 from Revain.com (I have more than 1 bike). This and the Pro Bike Premium tool https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08HR4GBVG/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1The Crankbrothers which I received in the HV version without the gauge. Pros for CrankBrothers: - Well made connection hose - The anti-click guard in the head is well thought out to keep out dust and dirt - The ability to rotate the end of the handle doesn't matter to me, but might for some. It's a nice touch, and it certainly protects the hose and can make pumping easier (I doubt the latter, but hey). Cons: The design is a bit clunky. The HP version might be a little different, but it's basically a click head that ends up looking like a fat barrel. Compare that to the sleek Pro Bike I mentioned above. Not happy with the presta valve hose connection. It has thread, but I couldn't insert it deep enough for the thread to snap. So I have to rely on a rubber grommet to hold the threaded hose in place. What really let me down was the pump mount. He broke right away. Too hard plastic. I'm known for grace. I've fixed everything from motorcycles to Nikon 2.8 lenses. So I really think I know how tight I have to turn the screw. I had the pump cage under the bottle cage so yes the bottle cage creates stress but it shouldn't break like that. I have a replacement from Revain that works great: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07M78ZF5R/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1Next pump I'll probably look at another brand again.
