We bought this for a very unusual use as a cleaning product. We live on a boat and use seawater for cooling. Unfortunately, there are creatures and plants in seawater that clog everything, be it the bottom of a boat, a hose or a pipe. Luckily for our purposes, creatures and plants don't like copper. So I cut one up and put it in the inlet of our cooling line and the rest in the filter. Now it should end the clog for good, and it's good enough not to impede the flow of water in the amounts we use. I love it when the plan comes!
