Many Oculus patch cords have one of two problems. They are either not long enough or suffer from data or frame loss. Because the risk of data and performance loss increases with the cable length. I was hoping that this medium length cable could achieve a harmonious midrange while retaining the characteristics of its shorter options while still giving me the length I need to move around the room comfortably. Unfortunately, this attempt to find a middle ground seems to have left the line with the downsides of both options. On my Oculus Quest, it's prone to stuttering and freezing of images, and tugs at my headset when I rotate it 180 degrees, often yanking it out of the USB port. Still, I would say it was worth the money. It's a lot cheaper than Oculus-branded patch cords, and the poor performance isn't a reference to the company, but rather to the limitations of the technology available. Although my circumstances prevent me from using either, I would recommend getting either a shorter cable for performance or a longer cable for convenience.
