This machine is great for simple patches, stitches and projects the most solid construction so it doesn't stand up to larger projects like sewing my own clothes all the way through - the Needles on my first machine kept breaking while I was working. The zigzag function is being used and the machine is finicky - everything has to be perfect for it to work and I wouldn't recommend sewing thicker fabrics or multiple layers of fabric. After that, she completely stopped zigzagging. The support was very nice and gave me a second car, but the second hook timing was wrong after 10 minutes and now it's useless too.
