Rarely are the products I buy worth evaluating. I also didn't think a set of storage boxes under the bed would work, but I can't tell at the moment. From the moment I opened the box I was impressed. The packaging has been carefully designed to protect and effectively 'enclose' the parts used to assemble the organizers. The outer box was heavier than a regular box, styrofoam end caps were strategically placed at the ends, individual components were sealed, 8 wheels had their own wheel guards. Even 2 socket wrenches were in a bubble bag! All of this has been strategically stacked on top of each other to save space and prevent damage during transit. The hardware required for assembly served a dual function of securing disposable fiberboard "plates" to hold the metal frame. The parts are well protected during transit and the instructions have been printed in large clear print on hard stock. Assembly was easy (anyone with a thumbs out could pull it out - 10 screws per unit). 2 zippers was an unexpected convenience. All of the shoes my wife and I own easily fit either side of the Velcro. Our shoes have taken up most of the newly created storage space. Sorry we didn't get 2 more, but it can be solved with one click. Shoes aside, they're great for anything else we'd like to wheel under the bed. The removable divider transforms it from a shoe organizer to "anything you want under a bed box organizer". Might even hide some of our "personal satisfaction devices" under the sheets and towels for privacy AND access. The wheel stays can support a thin sheet of fiber to make the floor as strong as a dresser. Hats off and a big thank you to the packaging designers. I never thought I could get something like this with so much attention to detail for less than $50. Excellent work !
