This is my first 144Hz monitor. I used to have a 27" ASUS VE278 with 1080p 60Hz resolution. The curved screen for a 27" screen definitely stands out compared to the 27" ASUS next to it. For those who think this will improve your experience, is that fair. and curved, have little effect on your viewing experience. Since my monitor is definitely more than 1.5ft from my face, I don't really notice the pixelation that others say when they're 27" 1080p and 24" Compare 1080p. And heck, for those who want to enjoy 144Hz from 60Hz, it's CRAZY smooth. Since I have a 60Hz monitor next to me, it's noticeable all the time. This monitor is also a fingerprint magnet. Problems: When I first installed the monitor I had trouble getting rid of the purple vertical line on my monitor, I now knew I didn't have a totally faulty model as I saw that the minute this monitor inst was working fine and I have no idea what I did, but now the vertical line is gone. I now believe the issue is related to the included DisplayPort cable. The protective plastic covering around the base of the harbor collapsed today. It's pretty cheap considering the materials inside, but I'm planning on getting a longer DisplayPort cable as I'll need it anyway. Overall, this was one of the cheapest 27-inch 1080p 144Hz monitors out there and definitely worth it. There will be no problems in the future and this review will be updated.
