After installing from the minidisk, my Windows 10 screen flashed every few seconds. Restart didn't help. I uninstalled the product and downloaded it from the website hoping there would be a newer driver, but that didn't work either. I almost sent it back. I tried again, uninstalled the driver and let Windows install itself and since then it's been working great and restarting quickly and reliably after opening the laptop lid. So installation is easy if you ignore the bundled installation software. This device is Realtek 8812BU 802.11ac. Small and fast: I get 150 Mbit/s without a bulky antenna sticking out.
