Toddler Sandal Goldmine or Summer Silver: XYLUIGI Crib Shoe Review

As a new parent, I'm always on the hunt for the perfect pair of shoes for my little one, so I was excited to try the XYLUIGI Infant Toddler Dress Sandals. The golden color immediately caught my attention and I imagined how adorable my little girl would look in it on the beach. However, my excitement was short-lived as I found several issues with this shoe. First, let's downsize a bit. I ordered size 12-18 months for my 15 month old but the shoes were too tight around the ankle. My daughter felt uncomfortable wearing them and had trouble walking in them. This may be because the shoes are made of polyurethane, which isn't as flexible as other materials used for children's shoes. I also had a problem with the straps. While they were beautiful, they didn't seem to hold the shoes securely on my child's feet. Unlike other first running shoes, I had to adjust the straps several times while walking. This was a little disappointing for me and made me feel like these shoes were more of a fashion statement than a functional piece. However, one of the positive aspects of these shoes was that they were incredibly light. My daughter didn't seem to mind wearing them for short periods and they were easy to pack for our trip to the beach. They also looked really cute with a variety of outfits and helped her look her best at outdoor events. Overall I would give the XYLUIGI Infant Toddler Dress Sandals a 3 star rating. While they certainly look cute, they're not the most comfortable and functional first step shoes out there. Considering the price and the issues I've encountered, I'd recommend looking elsewhere for kids' shoes.

Pros
  • One of the advantages of XYLUIGI baby sandals is that they are lightweight, which makes it easier for babies and toddlers to carry and move, especially during summer outdoor activities.
Cons
  • Narrow Fit: Some buyers report that the sandals have a narrow fit, which can make them uncomfortable for babies and toddlers with wider feet, making them unsuitable for a wider age group.
