I bought one of these modules to increase the memory of my ASUS N61JQ-X1 from 4GB to 6GB. I process hundreds of RAW images simultaneously with the Canon 5d II and it's resource intensive! I had no trouble installing the module in my computer and the bios recognized the increase without prompting. My Windows on RAM score went up 1.5 points. More importantly, everything works flawlessly, including Adobe Lightroom 2.6, which is noticeably faster. 21 Megapixel RAW images can now have multiple custom settings and can be exported to JPG very quickly. The only downside is the RAM price, and of course the system takes longer to hibernate as it goes up.
