Arrived quickly and correct product. A quick stop on YouTube to see how I can replace my laptop's RAM and we were good to go. After a bit of trying to remove the back of the laptop, I pulled out the old RAM and put the new RAM in with no problems. Thumbs up and all is well. Run a RAM check to make sure it was detected correctly and it is. 8GB and it works. I have a 2010 HP DV6, AMD processor, so it's still chunky, but there is a slight increase in webpage loading and a few running programs.

I'm not sure if this is user error or if I have a bug that didn't work on arrival, but it didn't work on mine installed netbook it on. I tried to install this on a LT2805u gateway installed with 1GB single DDR3 1066 MT/s (PC3-8500) CL7 SODIMM 204 pin and it didn't boot. Except for the amount of RAM, almost everything was the same.
