Everyone who sees this thing is impressed. You no longer have to worry about the high CPU usage emulation baking your poor little overclocked, overclocked and overwhelmed Raspberry Pi 4. It's easy to install and the fan is quiet, but be careful. As for the fragility of the I2C OLED display, I unfortunately destroyed mine trying to connect it to a HAT. The glass is thin, a thin ribbon cable connecting the shield to the board. Well, it's a ribbon cable. They are naturally thin and not as strong. Be careful with OLED and you'll be fine. (I ordered a replacement almost for free and it works great.) You can spend a little time messing around with the C libraries to get it working, but all the code you need is in the library and will work as is. . If you're interested in running the main program (temp_control) at boot, let me suggest using [@reboot root sh $HOME/temp_control/start.sh] for your Pi's cron jobs - it works like a charm. Make sure you change $HOME to the full path where you placed the RGB Cooling HAT code libraries. I love this business and so do you.
