We have a water softener, but due to Heath's concerns about drinking more salt we reduced it. This naturally leads to more limescale deposits on our dishwasher, glasses and dishes. Using Finish Up gets rid of these limescale deposits - miraculously! Great product that works. In addition to the above information, as a retired safe drinking water regulator, I recommend water utilities for the addition of lime compounds to water as it is for your protection. A limescale coating on your copper and sometimes lead soldered pipes protects you from excess and unhealthy lead and copper in your drinking water.
