Great, heavy bags. Wish they had the a little smaller.
These bags seem great. I’m using them for storing reeks of 3D printer filament. For materials like PLA that don’t have as much issue with moisture absorption I just store them in these, put in a pack of desiccant and press extra air out. Storing filaments like PLA in vacuum bags with desiccant seems overkill. I reserve those for things like ABS and PETG that are really moisture sensitive.The reels fit fine in these bags but they are really too long and there is a bunch of extra bag that gets in the way. I wish this product was available in a 12 x 12 inch version that would be big enough to hold the reels without a lot of leftover, but I couldn’t find any 4 mil bags that size on Ebay.
- These small bags are great for packaging jewelry, beads, coins etc. The white block allows for easy labeling.
- May be difficult to open or close for those with mobility or dexterity issues
