I've been using it for a few weeks now. It brews a cup of coffee very quickly, as quickly as a cup of instant coffee in a microwave oven. The only thing that doesn't bother me is that the coffee isn't hot enough. From approx. 70 degrees tap water, coffee brewed to 164 degrees. Coffee was left over from 162 degree water (fresh from the brewery). 163 degrees. from okay Hot/cold tap water 125 degrees, brewed coffee up to 174 degrees. In addition, this coffee maker is beautiful, easy to use and practical. If the coffee is hot enough at 165 degrees, that's a very good thing. If you like hot coffee, 185-190 degrees, you won't like it too much.
