Don't try, you have short hair. My son wanted green hair like his favorite zombie character from the Disney show so I gave this product a try after reading the reviews. Well, he has short hair and the distance between the "green" and the hair was almost half an inch. I tried to pick up his hair and twist the comb to one side, but my hands just turned green. Just wanted to let those with short hair know that this product is not for them.
