There were no instructions with this kit so I had to look it up online. In the online instructions there were pictures of the parts and the order in which they were assembled. The pictures of the parts don't match the details of how they were drawn so I ended up getting frustrated and no longer relying on the diagram and having to guess and try. This took me over 4 hours. I have a total of 17 crystal puzzles and this was one of the hardest. This is a crystal puzzle lock. I didn't like that the top of this carousel was movable. I assume the creator did this so you can spin the top to make the horses look like they are moving as if they are on a real carousel, which is good for a demonstration when you pick up that carousel though would . Once you get to the top, anything underneath will fall down and you'll likely break it. So I glued the top piece to the pole to secure everything in place. Also, I really enjoyed putting it together and it turned out to be really cool.
