Smaller than I thought
They are too small for cross stitch in my opinion. It is difficult for the eye to catch even one embroidery thread. Not ideal for a project my daughter was working on. She had to shorten to one strand, which made her crosses very small. It was fine for them to practice and learn, but the end product wasn't good with these needles. I'm still giving them all their stars because maybe it's my fault for not doing enough research, but I figured if they're called "Cross Stitch Needles" you might be able to get thread through them.
