Very good needle set

I use these needles for 14 ct. Hades Cloth. With cross stitch, it's so nice to have a blunt point needle instead of a sharp one like regular sewing needles. There's a lot less blame and bloodshed.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Appearance

Bought for Cross Stitch; however, it is too short for comfortable use.

This needle is too short for comfortable cross stitch sewing. Often falls out of hand. That's a shame, because the eye of the needle is large enough to comfortably thread the thread, but small enough not to leave marks on the Aida's fabric. It would be the perfect needle if it was longer so I could grip it tighter.

Pros
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • Difficult to say

Pointy and difficult to put on embroidery thread.

Difficult to thread embroidery thread through hole. Needles are good for threading through holes in Hades. They're like a sewing needle in a way. They are very sharp to the touch and can cause bleeding. Be careful when using them. Embroidery threads in them are difficult to put on. I've only used two of these. I don't know if I will do cross stitch again. I say that because of the work itself.

Pros
  • For use on 11 and 14 gauge fabrics
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Perfect for cross stitch!

It is very difficult to find decent single cross stitch needles. So far the only good ones I could find were the ones that came with kits. Others are too sharp, so they not only prick you but also cling to the fabric of Hades, requiring a blunt needle. It was exactly what I was looking for, I was so happy I found it! Nice big needle eyes, not too sharp like I said, perfect for cross stitch, glad I found them!

Pros
  • Cross Stitch Counting Needles
Cons
  • Not sure

Smaller than I thought

They are too small for cross stitch in my opinion. It is difficult for the eye to catch even one embroidery thread. Not ideal for a project my daughter was working on. She had to shorten to one strand, which made her crosses very small. It was fine for them to practice and learn, but the end product wasn't good with these needles. I'm still giving them all their stars because maybe it's my fault for not doing enough research, but I figured if they're called "Cross Stitch Needles" you might be…

Pros
  • Imported
Cons
  • Requires an outlet
