This KVM is incorrectly reporting keyboard make and model to connected computers. If you are using a standard/universal USB keyboard then this might be fine. Or you can't. I used this with an Apple aluminum keyboard; However, KVM reports it as a "Chensen Electronics Corp." keyboard, causing numerous keys to not display properly. During the first 30 to 45 seconds after switching between computers, this KVM also causes the mouse scroll wheel to jump from top to bottom of pages instead of scrolling smoothly through them. If you want KVM to work properly, please get an older version of this product (StarView SV231DVIDDU). Attached USB devices are correctly reported, allowing computers to correctly identify the keyboard and load the appropriate keyboard layout. StarTech technical support is a joke.
