Before using the sand with the feed, I noticed that my chicks would leave some waste on the ground or in the feed bowl when they seemed ready. After reading some of the reviews about sand I decided to give it a try and after about a week I noticed that there was a lot less litter left on the floor. It definitely helps her digestion so I will keep using it!
