I set this up in my shower by placing some closed cell foam waffles (baby swim boards) I found at Goodwill under the tub and running 2 long wooden shower handles over the drain Water drainage (a bit slow, you can buy a wooden shower mat - or not!) You can adjust the flow of the tub drain to be fast or slow. ) You MUST leave an air gap for the water to allow water to enter the shower drain when a soft plastic tub is blocking the shower drain like mine. ) Very good sturdy drain valve on the outside is low and there is a drain in the shape of a cork on the ground that I will not use, I do not use. The included air pump is not needed, inflate the rim with your mouth in seconds, the top rim will not look as rounded as the photo but I don't care. The side drain leaves about 4 to 5 inches of water at the bottom after emptying because it's on the side wall, then it's easy to gently pull on one leg of the tub and drain some of the remaining water toward the drain, and then, when the water level is low enough, I turn the tub into the shower to drain the water completely. I only poured 8-9 inches of hot bath water as I see no reason to fill it plus the weight factor of the water. Too many gallons would have been used!. When I fill 8 inches I am waist deep in the water and can also lie down with my legs raised to dip my torso out of the tub into the water with legs upright (like in a hammock). I'm shorter, 5ft 4in, about 135lbs, and bathing as described could have been made MUCH easier with the hand pulls that were installed in the shower for my older family members a long time ago. Handles help to get in and out, safe, highly recommended. To fill, I take off my hand shower and the hose reaches into the tub, easy to fill. I see no point in filling it to shoulder height as that would require a lot of water. I wouldn't recommend bath oils. Would be too slippery, dangerous, can also coat and erode plastic. I used Epsom salts which hopefully won't age the plastic. Real pool quality soft plastic, durable plastic, heat-sealed seams. Looks like it will last a long time. After bathing, I leave the upright legs in place, deflate the top ring, towel dry inside and out, and store. By the way, half folded it looks like a T-shirt. In this state, it easily passes the doors. I will most likely use it outdoors on hot summer days and also for cold baths :-) The bottom of the bathtub is slightly softened with a layer of foam, if I find a softer waterproof foam I make a bigger soft rug for the shower floor. allowing the water to drain. In my opinion the best purchase of the year. Happy!
