Great radios for the whole family. Although the estimated range is optimistic, as with most radios of this type, they work very well and are very easy to use. We use them when we go on a family trip where we can be apart or on family vacations. We used them abroad between rental cars because for our time there it was cheaper than a dedicated phone line. They work reliably up to a few miles apart before losing reception unless it's too hilly or windy. The included charging dock also makes it easy to ensure they're always charged. In the past when we had a lot of these products, the fact that they used a spare cable like a phone charger meant we didn't use them often because they never charged when we needed them. . But we can keep them charged with no problem as they have a nice house and dock of their own. Just grab them when you need them!
