It just shows the setup screen. I've tried setting it up from both my Android phone and connecting from my laptop and neither works. There are very few instructions in the included setup guide, and the app that's offered to set it up is a POS with lots of ads. Turns out you can stream movies to a projector simply by plugging the Roku into the back. I've wasted a lot of time and frustration not thinking about what we already have. I'll just get myself a Chromecast if I want to cast a real smartphone screen onto a projector.
