Smooth nylon doesn't stretch over wool so it flows smoothly as you work. The snap loops are great for untangling things, and the hand strap is big enough. but not so big that it falls off too easily. They're also lightweight and the smooth nylon on the outside makes it easy to slip my knit into a purse, bag, suitcase or pocket and easily find it again. If I have multiple colors at once, I just put each color in my bag and everything stays in order. I use them even when I'm NOT planning on moving while knitting; They are great for organizing things in my work basket.
