I went to the company's official website and they don't say where they get their humic acid from so I hope it's good quality. Taking a product like this can help prevent cold sores and genital herpes if you have these problems. Made in the USA which I love. I keep this on hand to supplement my immune boosting supplies. While this suggests you can take it with or without food, I always take my supplements with food to prevent an upset stomach.
