I sit at my computer 8-9 hours a day in less than ideal lighting conditions. I wear blue light goggles but my eyes still get tired. I didn't know they made a product for freestanding monitors so I grabbed it as soon as I saw it. I have backlights on all my TVs at home and now I finally have a light that acts as a backlight for my monitor. It also lights up my keyboard and workspace in my home office. I like to use the lowest settings and even that helped a lot.
