I use this brand for my GoPro lights so thought it would be a good brand for a monitor lightbar. They definitely know how to make LED lights because they are bright. I wish it was curved so I can use it on my curved monitor, but I'm pretty sure they'll release that later. Ordered this for my 12 year old Dell All-In-One Desktop PC. It has a small desk and we didn't want the desk lamp to take up space. It simply plugs into the rear USB port and balances on the LED bar. I sit at my computer 8-9 hours a day in less than ideal lighting conditions. I wear blue light goggles but my eyes still get tired. I didn't know they made a product for freestanding monitors so I grabbed it as soon as I saw it. I have backlights on all my TVs at home and now I finally have a light that acts as a backlight for my monitor. It also lights up my keyboard and workspace in my home office. I like to use the lowest settings and even that helped a lot.

I've bought quite a few Lume Cubes items and I really like them. I was excited to see how this light would perform and was not disappointed. What struck me was the ease of setup. Lighting and sound usually scares me. However, I took this out of the box and set it up in about a minute. Just place it on your monitor and connect it to the USB cable (cable included). Turn and press the dial on the right side of the device and adjust the settings. Dead easy. It's great for Zoom calls and webinars.
