Lum is a good brand. I've had your Cube Edge round table lamp since the pandemic began and it fits me well. I recently set up a bar table and moved the Cube Edge light to it. So I found I needed something for my seated work area. That's where this Cube Monitor light came on the scene, and I'm happy to report that this Lume Cube Monitor light, like its siblings, makes an appearance. Pros: It can be powered from an open USB-A port on the back or side of the monitor it's mounted on, eliminating the need to run a cable across a desk to an outlet. You can choose the color temperature of the light. The dial at the end of the strip is used to switch from warm white to cool white and all colors in between. It does not interfere with the image on your monitor screen. By that I mean it scatters light on your desktop and I'm sure some of it hits my monitor surface as well, but it's not strong enough to make it noticeable. Of course, my screen has a matte finish. Cons - The only thing that comes to mind is the maximum brightness. I have an old fashioned 8" swing arm lamp mounted on the side of my desk which emits slightly more light than the Lume Cube Monitor light bar when the light bar is set to maximum.
