Another high quality toy from Melissa and Doug. This is a great toy for learning math visually. However, I found medium sized wooden sticks to be a little flimsy and brittle, so be aware that they can easily break with little pressure. The picture is a little deceptive; There isn't as much space between the rows of beads as in the photo, and there isn't as much space at the end of the rows, making it a bit difficult to separate the beads for counting as they looked grouped. However, these are calculators and they do what they were designed to do.
