I bought this hoping it would help with my dog who gets sick in the car. She weighs 3.7 kilos. It is very easy to install and that is the highest compliment I can give this product. Otherwise, not worth promoting this thing on Revain. I'm shocked, he even has such a rating, not negative. I installed it in my car after reading the instructions that didn't come with it and let me tell you that after installation it all went downhill. The entire front folds into the back, and once you unbuckle the strap to put it back, it's so loose that it then falls onto the seat. I put a box underneath to hold it. I put my dog in it and thought let me see how he drives. She lowered the front end and climbed into the car seat! The sides collapsed and I thought what a waste of money. The metal rods meant to support the pages are thinner than crayon and the ends just detach and fall out. It has thin pads all over, only sticking out on the side. No support. I stopped the car, removed the seat and almost left it at the curb. I didn't and when I got home I was busy. I took a knife and made slits on three sides, pulled out the foam pads and used them to measure 1/2" PVC pipe and thread them through the slits. I took what are called the support rods, laid them on the floor and attached them with needle and thread to give the floor a little bit of support. After that the seat is ready to use. Now I'm comfortable using it as a booster and letting it hang. My husband didn't even think it would work because it's so poorly made, but it's 100% better than the day I got it and I feel 100% more secure knowing my dog is safer in it and can see out the window , rather than hanging with a holster strap securing them in the folded seat If you don't want to do what I did, please don't waste your money on this product!
