This is a good car seat, but its stability is soft on the sides and small dogs can push it down. So we bought a plastic box of the same size for each of the 2 seats. We put seats in them and now they work great.

I just installed this seat to replace the one I already had. It's larger than the previous seat, easy to install and my rescue dog who weighs 16 pounds loves it. It is very well made with plenty of straps to ensure my dog travels safely. Appreciate the front zip pocket for storage etc. You can't go wrong with this car seat. The only thing it lacks is the lack of a soft seat. I put the folded bath towel on the seat. Works well.
