Brass damage?: Coolant temperature
Not installed yet. Just delivered today. The brass body looks badly scratched and damaged. The surface that sticks into the cooler has all kinds of damage, but even the threads have a few dents. I'm afraid to even install if the damaged thread simply raises the radiator thread. It has an o-ring, but I don't want a radiator leaking just because of a crappy brass fitting.
