Review on QKPARTS 2002-2005 Ballast Igniter Headlight: High-Quality Replacement for Enhanced Lighting Performance by Amrozi Goodall

For 2004 Acura TL (3G.) I was a little skeptical at first and the ballast pictured was not what I received. (Hence four stars instead of five.) This is not a Mitsubishi Electric ballast. The installation is also slightly different from existing ballasts. The factory unit has a raised ring around the port on the top of the unit where the igniter connects, allowing the rubber plug provided to cover the port. This device doesn't have it, so I couldn't close the connector. I don't think this will be a problem as the gasket on the underside of the headlight assembly seals the entire unit. But in the process they both lit and lit my new OSRAM D2S bulbs and I got back to night driving after assembling the bumper. Generally easy installation, all connectors fit well including igniter, solid "click" in place. I am very satisfied with the first results. Durability will show over time, I'll update if my experience changes, but so far so good!
