Great but noisy.

These sponge filters are great for keeping the water clear and crisp in my 5.5 and 10 gallon aquariums. The flow rate for my 5.5 gallon betta is perfect for him. However, I had another rooster with the same flow and it had a bit of trouble but was fine. The current could be softer for him, but I'm very happy. The only thing that bothers me is the noise. The bubbles make a "gurgling noise" and a rattling noise, although I'm used to it. It's like white noise. (: Overall I'm satisfied, but it could be less noisy.
