At first I found it too uncomfortable and didn't leave it on for long. One day I got over the discomfort and found that my leg felt really GOOD at the end of the day. Now I wear it every day, all day! I can walk with very little plantar pain. I tried everything for sole pain and the next step was a shoe from the doctor. It cushions my step and stabilizes my ankle. I can wear it in most of my shoes. I bought another one as a backup in case the pads ever run out. I can't walk without an orthopedic splint! I have tried all the pads, compression bands, steroid injections, night splints, exercises and stretches. that works best.
