Description of 👟 Medium AirHeel Support Stabilizers by Aircast

Designed with 2 interconnected air cells, located under the foot arch and in back of the Achilles tendon. Air cell technology provides pulsating pneumatic compression that minimizes swelling and enhances circulation. Tested with 1,000 lbs. of pressure, enabling the air cells to withstand the force from running, jumping and other high impact activities. Medial/lateral stabilizers offer enhanced proprioception and stability. Universal fit allows the Aircast AirHeel Ankle Support Brace to be worn on either the left or right foot.

Not enough to solve my problem

I have severe plantar fascia and am about to have surgery. In a last ditch effort to delay surgery after years of wearing orthotics, doctor's trials of prednason, cortisone injections and exercise. I've seen such great reviews about it. It just didn't work for me, maybe my foot went too far. I feel like it would take my weight off my heel but it's not enough to keep me from having surgery. It seems like a well made product and a great idea, but it's not enough for my problem.

Pros
  • Universal fit allows you to wear the Aircast AirHeel ankle brace on both left and right foot
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Great relief until it burst open the day after the warranty expired

Worked great. I felt relieved immediately after putting it on, but it popped out the day after the warranty expired (31 days). I can't even understand how it happened. I hope it was just broken. I will order another one. Benefits: - Immediate relief from my plantar fasciitis and achilles tendon. - Easy on and off - you can feel how it works. flexible (1 week). Can easily be repaired by sewing another piece of fabric around the ankle pocket. - burst the next day after the warranty expired. (31…

Small wonder: leg and footrests

At first I found it too uncomfortable and didn't leave it on for long. One day I got over the discomfort and found that my leg felt really GOOD at the end of the day. Now I wear it every day, all day! I can walk with very little plantar pain. I tried everything for sole pain and the next step was a shoe from the doctor. It cushions my step and stabilizes my ankle. I can wear it in most of my shoes. I bought another one as a backup in case the pads ever run out. I can't walk without an…

Beware of pipe

I just received the support and watched the video. I put it on and the thin tube that runs between the two air poles (top and bottom) digs right into my ankle. I've tried moving it around so it doesn't bite me, but I can't get around it. I tried calling customer service who says they are available until 5pm PT even though it was 4:15pm PT. The support rep asked for my zip code to put me in touch with someone in the sales department. I have no idea why the support number didn't offer support…

Lifebelt - Ankle Brace

I am 63 years old and do CrossFit - I have just started walking/jogging and ended up with severe pain in my Achilles tendon - due to pain in my heel it was difficult to walk . I went to the gym and after a modified workout I was crippled for 2 days. I've tried compression stockings, rubbed, stretched - nothing made it easier. The day this aircast arrived I was in terrible shape. I put it on and initially didn't find it comfortable - the inside where the air pocket inflates rubbed against the…
