Review on Jevtech Replacement Type C to MagSafe Adapter: USB C MagSafe Adapter for MacBook Pro, Chromebook by Alexander Roberson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

does what it says Appears to be of good quality.

I'm a longtime Mac user and have a collection of Magsafe and Magsafe II power supplies that I've collected over the years that I keep in different rooms of my house so I don't have to constantly moving the power pack as I move from room to room. When I switched to a new 16-inch MacBook Pro, I was looking for a way to avoid buying a bunch of new USB-C power adapters. I was surprised Apple didn't offer something like this when they switched from Magsafe to Magsafe II, so I bought one of these adapters from Revain. I've been using it for about a month now and it seems to be working pretty well. I'm currently connected to the original Magsafe power bank from an old MacBook Air and with just normal web browsing and document editing I'm 100% charged all day. When I'm doing something more demanding, like playing a game, the Battery slowly draining, but I think it's the power adapter, not enough power, not this adapter. Only two real complaints. When I first started using this adapter, it was very tight and I had to push really hard to insert it into one of the USB-C ports on my MacBook. After about 5 uses it loosened up and now fits great. Also, this adapter gets VERY hot under heavier loads, although it does feel a bit warm with normal use. I'm not sure if this is a real problem, but I'm wondering how long I can live on this. Since it gets hot, I also don't want to leave it on when I'm not actively using the computer. Overall it does what it's supposed to and keeps me from installing 4-5 old PSUs. in the bin. Edited: After a few months, my adapter cable started detaching from the USB-C connector. I contacted the manufacturer through Revain and they sent a replacement straight away. Good service.
