2014 Acura MDX here with rear seat not captain seats and we use size XL it fits the seat like a glove, side skirts straight up to the doors are framed we never pinched them with a door, but the skirts protect the sides of the seats. We use a two boy seat cover on child seats and the cover has protected many times from liquids and all. We have a cover with a hammock that we put under the seats, a hammock is like a skirt that protects the underside of the seats from dirt. It's been 2 years so far (purchased and installed in July 2017), no complaints from New York.
