Review on Roof bike rack THULE ProRide 598 aluminum by Anastazja Andrzejews ᠌

Everything is fine, I liked the product, I bought it for a reason.

Carrying a bicycle on a roof requires attention and care. The center of gravity shifts upward, and this is felt when driving. Increased windage, it is also noticeable. There is more roll in corners. You have to drive in such a way as to minimize lateral loads and not rock the car - nevertheless, the reliability of the entire structure is not unlimited. Got pros: Vel is holding on tight. The mount itself is attached to the crossbars quickly and conveniently, it sits like a glove. Remove or install - a matter of a couple of minutes. Easily and quickly adapts to installation on the other side of the machine - you just need to turn a couple of parts. I have two such mounts on the roof of an average crossover, but at least one more, or even two, will fit freely if you put the other end forward. Different cons: It is difficult to put the led on alone - you have to constantly hold it with one hand until it is completely fixed, and fix it with the other. I read that there are fasteners from other manufacturers, in which the lead is immediately placed in such a way that it does not spin and does not strive to fall on your head while you fix it.
