Good! I've used SO many different handheld antennas and haven't been happy. This antenna made me happy! Perfectly executed! It is built with high quality materials and will last a long time. This is the only antenna I currently use (connected directly to the scanner, with no external antennas). If you wish, you can easily get in the mood for your group. I am an avid military radio listener. No TV antenna can match this performance! It also shines for 700/800 MHz systems. If I'm scanning regularly, I extend them all the way and then fold down the top 2. This makes it an effective dual band 140/440 antenna.
