I had trouble with this wax initially and have worked with soy wax before with no problems. It depends on how hard your wicks are burning you. If you have wicks for softer soy wax, I recommend adding some coconut oil to the mix. Without coconut oil all my candles were useless which was very frustrating. I've also found that I can't use dyes with this wax, even with coconut oil. I don't know why they just don't work, but I don't really care. Natural ALL is trending now. If you have zinc core wicks like they do with paraffin wax, I'm pretty sure you won't have a problem. I'm glad I read the reviews when I was struggling because I probably never would have thought to add coconut oil. You have to find the right portions for you, but there's more to it than you think. Thankfully, this doesn't turn the candle into the consistency of coconut oil (gross). It just softens the wax a bit with a lower melting point. You can get a few stains on the wax, but you can always use a heat gun to fix it. The scent throw is surprisingly large. Don't know if coconut oil is added, but I found it scented the entire room and hallways. And I use the same scent portions as other waxes. I hope that was helpful.
