Review on Compostable Zip Bags, 50 Count, Gallon Size for Freezer, Sandwiches, Food Storage, and More, with Resealable Lock, Biodegradable Eco-Friendly Option by Beny Teller

Robust like normal zippers! Frosty look. Made with BPAT and corn starch, 90 day compost

These are strong and durable biodegradable ziplock bags that feel as strong as regular bags. The box says they're made with cornstarch and "PBAT," which netizens say is a 100% biodegradable compound, while "compostable" means it breaks down in 90 days with no toxic residue . There are various certificates on the packaging. I think it's worth noting that BPAT is not a cornstarch compound. I'll berate them for not specifically mentioning "PBAT" on the list so I could have looked it up before buying, but I'm happy with the ingredients. To me, this is a great replacement for all those non-degradable plastic bags, and this zipper closes just as completely and just as easily. I came back to buy more of these in a smaller size!
