I am writing this review from the aspect of someone that originally has been using the "fake” dermaroller 1.mm and can honestly say that you will not feel pain unlike the roller even at 1mm with the tighter packed 36pin cartridge (as this mimics the 540 pin roller i am advancing from) on the other hand the 12 pin cartridge you will be aware of as there is more space between needles to allow for better puncture, (hence do NOT try if you are new to this. gain some knowledge first with video research) The difference is NEEDLES vs. SPIKES and I am quite pleased with my purchase thus far.Ease of use : I give 5⭐️, It is easy to use , no pain as long as you are cosmetic needling and holding at correct angle to your skins surface. Do your research for proper at home protocols and usage. I did .25mm on forehead and high cheeks, .5mm on lower cheeks and .75mm on neck. ( if you are a beginner, do your own research for an appropriate starting point and protocol guide)Value for money: I give 5⭐️, I purchased at a small discount , order comes with 2 packages of cartridges in both 36pin and 12pin 10 each . enough to give a great start to an at home regimen. I use 36pin cartridge for my .25mm regular use protocol for serum absorption . will reserve 12 pin for scar and hyperpigmentation treatments ( when going deeper) . REMEMBER DO NOT REUSE CARTRIDGES . this is just a great sterile, healthy and hygienic practice to aid in a successful at home regimen.Style : 5⭐️ , this tool has the (4 colors) LED lights as part of the device which in my opinion helps to get light therapy in at the same time as the needling session which also saves me money (right now) not needing to acquire an LED light treatment device separately and finally the screw on cartridge aspect is more secure than other twist on options. No need to over tighten.To summarize:I have used this several times now and waiting for cell turnover again to really begin seeing progress. Since I am a beginner I’m focused on cosmetic application for serums etc therefore I am not evasive in application, I’ve only used to a max of .75mm and saw the subtle exfoliating of surface skin at 5th day after 2 uses (2 days back to back) . @ 2nd week I’m only doing it at .25mm /.35mm to achieve maximum absorbing of serums to sustain moisture balance and nourishment to renewing skin. I will update in near future on devices quality of work and it’s durability with continued usage AND for the progress of my results as my focus is now on hyperpigmentation.(do your own extensive research for a good starting point and to be able to gauge expectations )
