So I had the opportunity to use this item for the first time. Remember that I am very careful with my belongings and I am NOT a clumsy or clumsy person. It seems to clean the roof of my SUV well and also cleans the hood and large areas on the side panels. After washing my car I figured it would be a good idea to remove the mop head for a quick hand wash and then dry it. Well after one use I noticed a big old tear running through the top of the plastic mop liner. Yes, it's a thin liner. I can only assume they intentionally made it thin so it flexed a bit instead of banging things on your precious car while holding the mop. Bad idea with ABS plastic without much stability. Remember, I washed my SUV at 8:30 a.m. on a September morning in Northern California. The ambient temperature was over 60 degrees and the water temperature was a very pleasant 80 degrees. Not a cold morning in Alaska. I'm frustrated that I missed the return window by 10 days. I bought it at the end of July and didn't use it until September 15th. Buyer Warning.
