Okay, I'm someone who understands the difference between a good skateboard and a mediocre one. Better than Kryptonics. If you're on a budget, you're in luck. If you want to ride this board out of the box, you will have a hard time with trucks. I recommend at least replacing the bushings. $5-8 for an independent brand. Also the included bearings work much better if you put some oil on them. I use Bones Speed Cream. ($5). Lastly, you need to slightly loosen the screws on the carts. As you rock the wheel back and forth, there should be a slight click. If they don't move, it's too tight. I ended up replacing the carriages, bearings and removed the risers. Basically, I paid for the deck and equipment. It should be noted that the hardware is a bit long on some trucks. My Element trucks for 7.75 fit perfectly. This raises another question. It is given as 7.75. In fact, it's 7.5. This difference is small. The deck is perfect for any beginner. It was a gift for a newbie who is 11 years old. Graphics have a matte finish. But do not worry.
