I was having trouble with my stud finder - I thought it worked fine before. Now that there are more things hanging on the walls, it's harder to use. I have changed batteries etc and am still having issues with it. This one is really sensitive (in a good way) and accurate. I was specifically trying to locate the studs in a small section of wall, maybe 8 feet wide. My results were consistently erratic with my old spike finder. This one was accurate and found her on the first try. Of course I ran it a few more times; the results were consistent. Great tool.
