This thing was easy to install and did the job. I was a little worried that the pivot bolt wouldn't be tight enough to hold my Garmin 1000, but it tightened. I had a pretty decent mountain bike crash and the mount held, but the plastic holding the Garmin broke. I probably would have bought another one anyway due to the price, but I decided to use my Garmin 235 watch to start tracking my mountain bike rides. Either way, if you're looking for a go-anywhere mount, save your money on the K-Edge and give it a try. You may not be value for the price.
